Ancient ceremonies were celebrated at two times of the year, in autumn and spring, and represented the perennial rest and reawakening of nature in the countryside, the "Celebration of Life" whose strength and rebirth are reflected in the ear of wheat. Cyclicity and regeneration are rites of passage that enshrine the essential moments of life, such as that of transhumance during which the flocks moved, along the ancient sheep-track, from the hilly and mountainous areas towards the sea coasts in the winter season and on the opposite route in the summer, feeding on 'Pecorino' grapes.

Its aroma is distinctive and assertive with persuasive essences of fruit, even tropical fruit, mango, melon, grapefruit and singular spicy nuances.

We have been growing vines since the turn of the last century, producing wines that can be easily recognised by the labels bearing the founder’s unmistakable seal. A D and an M intertwine in a root, knotty and stubborn, determined not to detach itself from the ground on which it grew. A mark representing wines that continuously strive to outdo themselves.

We know every plant inside out and each day we care for them all as they grow, with methods handed down from generation to generation, integrated with innovative viticulture research, experimentation and continuous training.
