描述

Still red wine from Tuscany, produced by Belguardo (Mazzei), 14% ABV. Blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Maremma Toscana Riserva that expresses the power and elegance of the Tuscan terroir. The grapes are fermented and macerated for 16 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30°C. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, mostly new. The nose reveals notes of red fruit, plum and cherry, sweet and balsamic spices. On the palate, it is rich, full-bodied, and seductive, with great persistence.

In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, on the hills between Grosseto and Montiano and next to the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Belguardo Estate is one of the most important businesses in the region. Purchased by the Mazzei family in the middle of the 90's, the property covers an overall area of 70 hectares, half of which is devoted to special viewyards.
