Descripción
From our organic oasis, nestled in the land of Brunello di Montalcino, Col d'Orcia Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from four different varieties of olives: Frantoio: produces an oil ranging in colour from intense green to yellow, very fragrant with hints of renetta apple and cut grass, spicy and fruity on the palate, because it is very rich in polyphenols. It accounts for about 70% of our olive groves. Leccino: produces a lighter coloured oil, with a light, delicate fruitiness and hints of grass. Moraiolo: produces a very spicy oil, with slightly bitter hints of artichoke. Olivastra: is the most cold-resistant variety, producing a delicate oil with hints of cut grass.
