Description
A still red from the Marche region, produced by Santa Barbara, a winery that pays homage to its land and traditions. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Merlot that expresses the elegance and complexity of the grape variety, with grapes grown on the hills between the Misa and Nevola rivers. Fermentation of the Merlot takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages in new, fine-grained, medium-toasted barriques. Enveloping with notes of morello cherry and blackberry. Balsamic nuances of licorice and well-blended tertiary aromas. Lively and consistent ruby red color. Notes of ripe red fruit, vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. Smooth, full-bodied, appropriately warm and enveloping. Soft and balanced tannins. A wine that pairs perfectly with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
