Still red wine, Cannonau di Sardegna Mustazzo, 15.5% ABV, produced by Sella & Mosca, a historic Sardinian winery. 2021 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A Cannonau that tells the story of a unique territory, where nature and tradition blend in a wine of great character. The grapes come from vineyards in Alghero, on an immense estate, one of the largest in Europe. Destemming with extra-gentle pressing, maceration with delastage. Malolactic fermentation: completed. Aged in wood and cement. Fruity notes of blackberry and undergrowth complement sensations of myrtle and light spice on the nose. Fresh and dynamic on the palate, punctuated by compelling tannins and an extraordinary acidity that accompanies and sustains the long, meaty, and savory finish.
