Sabor

The Grenache fruit shines with a wild beauty, elegance and whimsy untouched by any oak contact. Enticing aromas of crunchy cherry and blackberry lead into an herbal yet ethereal brilliance that refuses to be pinned down. Medium-bodied, with silky red fruit flavors, deep spice and hints of licorice. A wine of equal parts ease and elegance, rugged and refined, and woven with a web of fine-grained tannins and a lingering mineral finish. An incredible homage to the cool Montsant slopes with body, structure, and enough freshness to honor any Mediterranean fare.

De esta bodega
Terroir al Limit es un proyecto nacido en 2001 de la iniciativa de tres personas apasionadas y fuertemente motivadas por valorizar el valioso patrimonio vitícola y el territorio especial de la zona del Priorato: Eben Sadie, enólogo sudafricano consagrado, Dominik Huber, estudiante de economía alemán, y Jaume Sabaté, inversor español. Desde el principio, la idea de los tres ha sido buscar la máxima expresión posible de las variedades de uva, de ahí también la elección del nombre de la bodega. La gestión de los viñedos es totalmente biodinámica: la tierra se trabaja sólo con mulas y caballos, sin utilizar maquinaria. A partir de estos métodos naturales, Huber -que hoy se ocupa directa y principalmente de los viñedos y la bodega- produce vinos con características muy diferentes de los que tradicionalmente se encuentran en la zona del Priorato: los tintos de Huber juegan con la finura y el equilibrio más que con los extractos o la potencia, acercándose así al estilo Pinot Noir de Borgoña.
