Fine liqueur obtained by hand from the long alcoholic maceration of the fruits of the DOP chinotto of Savona, without the addition of colorants, preservatives and other additives, it is a completely natural elixir. A light cloudiness or a noticeable change in color over time are a guarantee of authenticity.

Ditta Tartarini was founded in 1755 by Antonio Tartarini, a merchant of spirits and distillates in Pieve di Cento. It was then continued by his son Guido and after more than a century of proven experience, in the late 1800s it became a flourishing liqueur factory, the ‘’Premiata Liquoreria Giulio Tartarini‘’, deservedly awarded the Grand Prix and Gold Medal at the 1909 Florence International Exhibition for its most representative product, ‘’Liquore del Reno‘’.

The company's success of the period, which placed the liqueur factory among the best on the market, is linked to the extraordinary quality of the liqueurs and the refined images of women's faces that characterise the elegant labels and all the historical propaganda material. All the depictions and characters, typical expressions of the Art Nouveau style of the time, are the work of the renowned painter Remo Fabbri from Pievese. The company reached its peak in the years of La Belle Epoque until the end of the Second World War when it was overwhelmed by the dramatic events of the immediate post-war period and from then on, unfortunately, it was no longer present on the market.

More than a century after the first registration of the trademark, the company has reopened its production and commercial phase.
