Description
Still red from the heart of Abruzzo, 14% ABV, 100% Montepulciano. Produced by Tenuta Ulisse, a winery founded in 2006 with the aim of innovating Abruzzo viticulture, combining a passion for historic grape varieties with experimentation. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. The grapes, harvested by hand in the first ten days of November, come from clay and limestone soils. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel with the skins for a period varying between 15 and 20 days. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks with subsequent bottle aging. The wine has an intense ruby red color with purple highlights. Pleasant and persistent aroma with fruity notes of red berries, including hints of black cherry and blackberry. Full and rounded on the palate, with good body. On the palate, it is immediately appreciated for the return of the notes already perceived on the nose. The finish is very persistent and pleasant with sweet and velvety tannins.
