Description
Still red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC, 2019 vintage, produced by Tenuta Ulisse. 100% Montepulciano. 0.75 l bottle, 14% vol. A wine born from a passion for the historic Abruzzo grape varieties, with a vinification process that enhances the characteristics of Montepulciano. The whole grapes are sorted and placed in the exclusive "Ulisse" cooling tunnel, where the temperature is rapidly reduced, resulting in cryomaceration of the skins and extraction of aromatic compounds. Maceration of the skins for 4 months and spontaneous fermentation. Unclarified. Unfiltered. Intense and persistent aroma, with hints of cherry and small red fruits, such as blueberry and morello cherry. Deep red color with garnet reflections. The palate is intense, with a good balance between acidity, tannins, and savory flavors. The finish is very fruity, especially with hints of cherry.
