A classic method brut sparkling wine from France, produced by Sieur d'Arques in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. 0.75L bottle. A Blanquette de Limoux that celebrates the French sparkling wine tradition, created in 1531 by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of St. Hilaire. A fresh and pleasantly fruity wine, with a fine and persistent perlage. Straw yellow, with excellent acidity, ideal as an aperitif or to accompany light dishes.

The history of the Languedoc vineyards dates back to the 5th century BC. - But it was in 1531 that the Benedictine monks of St. Hilaire Abbey, near Limoux, produced the world's first sparkling wine. The lord of the region, the Sieur d'Arques, celebrated his victories with a chalice of Blanquette, so, strengthened by these historical notes, the founders named their winery Sieur d'Arques.
