Description
What kind of wine it is
Lebolle Pinot Noir Rosé by Losito e Guarini is an elegant sparkling wine from Lombardy made from Pinot Noir grapes. Visually, it stands out for its delicate pink hue and a fine, persistent perlage that introduces intense aromas of cherry and strawberry. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh and pleasantly dry, with a linear structure and a well-defined fruity character. This Extra Dry sparkling wine makes an excellent aperitif and is ideal for pairing with savoury tarts, raw seafood, sushi, white meats or more structured dishes such as game casseroles.
Where it comes from
The grapes are sourced from the province of Pavia, in a vineyard area located along the forty-fifth parallel. The vines are cultivated using the Guyot training system on medium-textured soils, rich in calcareous marl and gypsum. This particular soil composition encourages a clear expression of the grape variety in its rosé version, ensuring freshness and aromatic precision. The pedoclimatic environment allows for a clean profile, capable of supporting the dry flavour profile and the structural balance typical of this production area.
How it is produced
After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing to extract only the free-run must. Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The secondary fermentation follows the Charmat Method in pressurised tanks, with carefully monitored maturation to ensure the highest quality. The process concludes with cold sterile bottling, an essential technique to preserve the fragrance of the fruity aromas and maintain the liveliness of the flavour.
