Description

Puglia IGT Selezione Luigi Guarini, 14% ABV, produced by Losito and Guarini, with Susumaniello grapes. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A wine that celebrates the tradition and excellence of Puglia, with a native grape variety that best expresses the characteristics of the territory. Its name derives from "somarello" in the Apulian dialect, indicating the high productivity of the plant, laden with bunches "like a donkey." Destemming, with long maceration of the grapes in contact with the skins for 15 days, fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25°C with selected yeasts. Aged in stainless steel. Complex, with notes of red fruits and jam, delicate spicy notes, black peep and leather. On the palate it is warm, enveloping, structured, very persistent, with a good acidity that makes it suitable for good aging.
