Description
What kind of spirit is this?
Fior di Bananino by Sprint is an Italian banana-flavoured cream liqueur with a 17% alcohol content. It displays a vibrant yellow hue and an intense aroma of ripe bananas, leading to a sweet, delicate palate. A subtle alcoholic note balances the velvety texture, creating an approachable drink. This versatile spirit is ideal served neat, over ice, or as an indulgent addition to coffee, vanilla ice cream, and mixed drinks.
Where it comes from
Crafted in Emilia-Romagna, this expression reflects its Italian origin. Produced by Sprint, part of the Cevico group, it benefits from extensive regional expertise in spirit production. The process in Barbiano di Cotignola ensures meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a distinctively smooth regional spirit. This collective knowledge yields an authentic, highly recognisable profile that captures the genuine character of local craftsmanship.
How it is produced
The production of Fior di Bananino relies on a precise blend of fruit derivatives and dairy. Cream and milk proteins are combined with sugar and a natural banana extract to achieve its signature sweet flavour and smooth consistency. Glucose syrup and alcohol are carefully calibrated to balance the recipe. To fully appreciate its qualities, ensure you shake well before pouring. It is best served chilled between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius, and requires an optimal storage temperature between -10°C and 25°C to preserve its delicate structure.
