Description
Margaux Rouge 2018, still red, Grand Cru Classé, produced by Chateau Dauzac in Bordeaux, France, 14.5% ABV. Blend: 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels (65% new) for 15 months. Notes of toasted bread crust and mocha on the nose, accompanied by aromas of underbrush and plum. The palate is concentrated and ripe, with rounded and full tannins. Awarded 93 points by Decanter and James Suckling, and 95 points by Wine Spectator.
