It expresses intense, pleasant, elegant and refined aromas of black cherry jam, raspberry jam, plum jam and violet followed by pleasing aromas of cocoa, leather, liquorice, tobacco and vanilla.

Volume and breadth are also on the palate. It is a wine that takes shape and depth with time. The finish is persistent with perfect and pleasant flavours of raspberry, plum and cherry.

Aldo Conterno founded his winery in the sixties, after the division of the legacy of his father James, one of the central figures of Italian post-war. Today the company, a sort of monumental fortress in the center of Bussia Monteforte, is undoubtedly one of the biggest names not only of the Langhe, but around the world of Italian wine. Here are some of the greatest Barolo born of history, beginning with numerous memorable versions of Granbussia, a reserve produced only in great vintages. Wine making In red vinification with maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks. The must remains in contact with the skins for 30 days, during which it completely undergoes alcoholic fermentation and is then drawn off.
