Lined with 999 cypress trees that celebrate and protect an extraordinary biodiversity, Ca’ Bolani is a wine estate where vines and nature thrive in perfect tune with each other. Set between the Alps and the sea - where the Friuli region meets the Adriatic at Aquileia - in a land where wine growing was introduced back in Roman times, it enjoys conditions that are ideal for growing grapes and making wine: the summer breezes off the sea, the protection afforded by the Alps, the considerable changes in temperature and the variety of the soil that leaves behind its clay and gravel composition in favour of sand as it drops off towards the sea. The estate is a unique piece of wine country, a garden-like expanse of vineyards yielding wines known for their distinctive traits: fragrance and aromatic fullness.

Vigorous and rich in shades, which add complexity to the varietal imprint, combining the fruity gracefulness with the strength of vegetation.

Composición del terreno The soil has a medium density structure that is crossed by drainage layers of gravel and siliceous matter.

Vendimia From 26th August. Manually harvested into 13-15 kg boxes.
Vinificación Grapes are harvested manually into boxes, selecting the very best grapes in the early morning hours. The boxes are taken into a thermoregulated room with a temperature of 6-8° C, where they remain until the next day. A gentle pressing of the whole grapes and fermentation at controlled temperatures of 16-18° C follow. Approximately 12% of the wine ferments in wooden barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
Crianza On the yeasts, for both parts fermented in wood and fermented in stainless steel, with subsequent bottling and bottle refinement.
