Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro 2020

First introduced with the 1960 vintage, Bin 2 was the result of experimentation by Penfolds winemakers to create a style defined as 'Australian Burgundy' based on Shiraz, a medium-bodied and lightly aged wine.

Colour

Intense dark red.

Bouquet

A mix of smoky and spicy tony, paprika, star anise, curry leaves.

Flavour

Full-bodied and young. Intense fruit scent and little hint of dark chocolate (wafers). Mild and soft plush and ripe tannins.
