Description
Semi-aromatic still white wine from the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region in Germany, 7.5% ABV, 100% Riesling. Produced by Willi Schaefer, a family that has been making wine since 1590. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A Kabinett Riesling that embodies the tradition and passion of a family that has cultivated the vine with dedication for generations. Fermentation in 1,000-liter acacia barrels with natural yeasts. Aged in 1,000-liter acacia barrels for approximately 8 months. Very balanced and delicate, with a broad, aromatic, fruity bouquet (peach, grapefruit, and mango), floral notes of acacia blossoms, and refreshing mineral notes. Very light green in color. Balanced, perhaps a little heavier than expected due to the sweet pear and peach fruit, fresh acidity, and a long finish.
