The exposure of the vineyards (south-southeast) and their altitude (350-450 m) guarantee the best environmental conditions for growing vines. Moreover, the ventilated position and low humidity favour the drying of the grapes from which Recioto and Amarone wines are made.
The Viviani family set out to enhance the characteristics of their estate with their work, first and foremost, by using those cultivation practices in the vineyard that allow the vines to achieve the total balance needed to obtain quality grapes.
Therefore, this has meant a progressive abandonment of synthetic products, such as herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers.
Moreover, by extending this basic approach to cellar practices, the Viviani family uses modern technology for raw materials and the most authentic regional tradition. Read more
