Description
A still red from Veneto, a Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, 14% ABV, produced by Vigne Venete. Blend: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella. 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine that embodies the Valpolicella tradition, produced using the Ripasso method, which lends greater structure and complexity. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, and aging for at least 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel. Complex, with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, berries, sweet spices (cinnamon, black pepper), and hints of vanilla and licorice. Structured, harmonious, and velvety on the palate, with soft tannins and a good finish; a balance between freshness and alcoholic warmth.
