Description
Still red Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Vigne Toscane. 100% Sangiovese, a wine that embodies the tradition and excellence of Tuscany. 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Brunello born among the rolling hills of Tuscany, where the sun caresses the vines and the wind brings scents of aromatic herbs and ancient soil. The harvest began the third week of September and concluded in early October. The carefully selected grapes, after destemming and soft pressing, are transferred to stainless steel tanks for the first fermentation and maceration. Short, frequent pumping over takes place for approximately 25-30 days at a controlled temperature of 24°C. Aged in 55-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for at least 24 months. After completing its cellar life, the wine enters the final phase of bottle aging, for at least 4 months. Bright ruby red. Aromas of berries and black cherries, along with notes of plum, mushroom, bark, and wood. Medium to full-bodied, with firm, smooth tannins and a long, intense finish. Structured and complete.
