Description
Organic still red wine from the Marche IGT (Regional Geographical Indication), 13.5% ABV, Merlot and Rebo, produced by Valturio in Macerata Feltria. 0.75 L bottle, 2012 vintage. A wine that celebrates the history and culture of the Marche region, with a tribute to Roberto Valturio, author of De Re Militari. Maceration of the skins with frequent punching down and malolactic fermentation in barrique. Aged for 12 months in French barriques from various woods. Aged for 12 months in bottle. Enveloping and ample, with a predominance of white heather, black berries (elderberry, currant, and blueberry) and refined notes of toast and spices (vanilla, cocoa, tobacco), almond, and roasted coffee. Deep and impenetrable ruby. Solid and muscular, balanced and harmonious. Presence of noble tannins, persuasive and full of vigor. Long and intriguing aftertaste.
