Still red wine from Emilia-Romagna, 14% ABV, produced by Umberto Cesari. Blend: 70% Sangiovese Grosso, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine born from the passion and vision of Umberto Cesari, a pioneer of Sangiovese in Emilia-Romagna. The wine is made in special temperature-controlled fermenters that allow for long, consistent maceration of the pomace. Aged for 18 months in 5.5 hl Allier oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottle. Ruby red with garnet highlights. Ample, with hints of ripe red fruit and black cherry jam. A soft, elegant wine with long-lasting intensity. Pleasant, harmonious, and balanced tannins. A wine of great character.
