Description
What kind of wine it is
Tiefenbrunner Merus Pinot Bianco is a still white wine that elegantly interprets the Alto Adige region. Made from Pinot Bianco grapes, it stands out for its bright, pale straw-yellow colour. The bouquet offers enveloping floral scents combined with sweet notes of apple and tropical fruit. On the palate, it reveals a dry profile, supported by a pleasant acidity and clear mineral notes that lead to an extremely harmonious finish.
Where it comes from
This white wine originates from the hilly and flat vineyards of Cortaccia and Magrè, located at an altitude between 210 and 600 metres. The vines take root in soils with different geological origins: calcareous gravel of morainic origin in Cortaccia and sandy alluvial soils in Magrè. The combination of these pedoclimatic characteristics ensures the grapes have ideal freshness, defining a vibrant and dry style in the glass.
How it is produced
The vinification aims to enhance the aromatic purity of the fruit through temperature-controlled fermentation in cement vats. Afterwards, the wine undergoes ageing on fine lees for four months. This period of rest enriches its structure and imparts a pleasant softness to the sip, giving the wine marked elegance and excellent taste balance.

The Latin name “Merus” highlights its pure character, perfectly in tune with the vocation of Alto Adige DOC. The vines grow between 210 and 600 metres above sea level, taking root among the calcareous gravel of the hillside vineyards of Cortaccia and the sandy soils of Magrè.
