Description
Still organic red Chénas AOC, 12% ABV, produced by Thillardon in Beaujolais, France. A wine born from a passion for nature and the desire to produce pure, unadulterated wines. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A tribute to the Gamay grape, with aromas of red fruits and notes of licorice. The Thillardon family has been practicing organic farming since 2008, and now biodynamic farming, with an approach that respects the land and the environment. Ruby red with purple highlights. On the palate, the wine is soft, powerful, and structured, a wine that best expresses the Chénas terroir.

Pairings
We have been working organically since the beginning (2008) and biodynamically today. The vineyard covers 12 hectares spread over Chénas, Moulin à Vent and Beaujolais. The environment in which we live is very important and we have reintroduced animals right into the heart of the estate (cows, horses, poultry, pigs, beehives, etc.). All our vines are surrounded by hedges and we have reintroduced trees in the middle, particularly at Chassignol. Our 2 horses are used to plough the soil. Read more
