Description
Still red wine from Chianti Classico DOCG in Tuscany, 14% ABV, produced by Tenuta Perano - Frescobaldi. Blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Chianti Classico Riserva born in a natural amphitheater at 500 meters above sea level, where Sangiovese finds an ideal terroir. Manual harvest and meticulous selection of grapes. Aged for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Its bouquet is complex and intense. Floral scents immediately pervade the nose, ranging from sweet violet to dog rose; fruity notes quickly emerge, with hints of blackcurrant and blueberry. Over time, the emphasis shifts to tertiary notes reminiscent of nutmeg and black pepper, as well as cocoa powder. The balsamic sensation lends infinite elegance to the wine. Bright ruby red with violet reflections. On the palate, it surprises with its freshness, persistence, and length. The tannic structure is dense, as befits Sangiovese from the most suitable soils. The finish recalls noble tobacco and leather. The finish is long and harmonious.
