Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 14.5% ABV, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, produced by Tenuta di Nozzole (Folonari) in the municipality of Greve in Chianti (FI). 0.75 l bottle, 2020 vintage. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Maceration on the skins for approximately 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22-23°C. Aged 16-18 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 6 months in bottle. Aromas of vanilla and wild berries. Intense ruby red color. Dry, persistent, elegant, with soft, diffused tannins. Pairs well with meats, roasts, game, and mature cheeses. Awarded 4 Guide of the Italian Sommelier Foundation (FIS), 95/100 James Suckling, 3, 4 Guide of the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS), 93/100 Wine spectator.
