Description
Still red Chianti DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Stomennano, a winery located in a 13th-century village in Monteriggioni, Siena. 80% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo Nero, 10% Colorino, 0.75 l bottle, 2022 vintage. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature with long maceration on the skins. Aged in barrique for 10 months and then in bottle for 6 months. Complex and harmonious with a lovely spicy note and a hint of red jam on the finish. Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Velvety and full-bodied, it reveals dense, austere tannins; the finish is enveloping with a light touch.
