Description
Still red from Piedmont, Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Scarpa. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the tradition and history of a winery that has been producing excellent wines since 1854. Aged for over 36 months in 50hl French Allier and Slavonian oak barrels and at least 12 months in bottle. Finishes with the traditional aromas of licorice, violet, and tobacco, with notes of balsam. Vivid crimson in color when young; orange hues appear in older vintages. Powerful and robust, elegant tannins with a long finish.
