Description
A rosé sparkling wine made using the Charmat method, produced by Ruggeri in the Veneto region. This Prosecco Rosé combines the freshness of Glera with the structure of Pinot Noir, creating a perfect balance between complexity and drinkability. The Glera grapes are vinified as a white wine at a temperature of 18°C. The Pinot Noir grapes are vinified as a red wine at a temperature of 25°C, with skin contact for approximately 4–5 days. The two base wines are then blended for secondary fermentation and a slow secondary fermentation in large, closed containers at 14–15°C, followed by maturation on the lees for at least 2 months. On the nose, the typical aromatic notes of Glera are enriched with very delicate and fresh aromas of wild berries, such as redcurrant and raspberry. The bouquet of white flowers and berries is finally enveloped by a delightful balsamic note of fresh rosemary leaves. A pale pink color reminiscent of peach blossoms. Each sip enters the mouth with a lively freshness, followed by a savory finish and the full-bodied structure of the Pinot Noir. It is complex and long-lasting, perfectly in keeping with the aromas. Harmonious and elegant, it closes with a long, silky finish.

Ruggeri’s roots stretch far back to the nineteenth century, to Eliseo Bisol, who, along with his son Luigi was one of the first winemakers in Valdobbiadene. The business’s significant growth began in 1950 when Giustino Bisol founded the current winery with his cousin, and it was his surname, Ruggeri, that was chosen as the company name. The unswerving commitment to excellence continued with the work of Giustino’s son, Paolo, and granddaughter Isabella.
Since 2017, Ruggeri has been part of the Rotkäppchen-Mumm Group, a highly fruitful partnership which has paired our shared visions, trust in common values and a mutual commitment to ever higher quality standards. Read more
