Description

What kind of wine it is

Lambrusco Rosé Secco r’Osé by Rinaldini is a sparkling rosé wine from the Emilia region. Made from a blend of Lambrusco Marani and Lambrusco Salamino grapes, it displays a pink hue enhanced by bright violet highlights. On the nose, it offers a delicate and floral bouquet, with clear aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry. On the palate, it is clean and smooth, elevated by a pronounced minerality that extends its fragrant and persistent finish.

Where it comes from

This wine originates in Sant’Ilario d’Enza, a wine-growing area located between Reggio Emilia and Parma. The vineyards thrive at the foot of the Matildic hills, in a microclimate that gives the production a well-defined identity. Rinaldini, a family-run business founded in 1972, manages the entire process with dedication, safeguarding ancient grape varieties. The grapes are processed in an old nineteenth-century farmhouse, preserving the agricultural vocation of the area.

How it is produced

The sparkling process takes place using the Charmat method, with a second fermentation in a temperature-controlled tank. This process preserves the integrity of the primary aromas and produces a very fine mousse, giving the palate an elegant liveliness. Excellent when served chilled, it expresses a harmony that makes it versatile for pairings, accompanying white fish dishes, cheeses, and white meats with freshness.

History and Curiosities

Born at the foot of the enchanting Matildic hills, r’Osé is the result of the dedication of the family-run Rinaldini Moro company, founded in 1972. Within a winery created from a charming nineteenth-century farmhouse, every stage of production is meticulously overseen to preserve rare and precious ancient vines. This artisanal vocation, which follows the entire cycle from vineyard to bottle, is reflected in an exceptional wine, celebrated internationally with prestigious scores such as 93 points from Luca Maroni and 91 from James Suckling.

Our farm was established in the late sixties by my father Rinaldo Rinaldini, which at the time was managing a famous restaurant, where wine and sausages were made by hand and where the dishes hedge in the most authentic Emilian cuisine.

The fund company is located halfway between Reggio Emilia and Parma, at the feet of the hills of Matilde. The love for the land, the admiration and knowledge of rites "Champagne" grew with time, and it was this that brought our family to become winemakers.

Due to technical and curiosity, it was decided to save ancient vines, otherwise doomed to extinction. In a few years it has been shown that, as from land and vines battered by the producers and forgotten by the masters of wine culture, true miracles can be born.

Even today, the business has retained its family character, in fact to manage the full cycle of processing, from the grape to the bottle, takes care of Paola Rinaldini with her husband Marco and son Luca, the latter is responsible for over the care of the vineyards. The cellar has been converted from an old farmhouse in 1884 that stands at the center of the vineyards.
