Description

Still organic red wine from Chianti Classico DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Querciabella. 100% Sangiovese. A Chianti Classico that enchants with its elegance and complexity, produced by a winery that has always been committed to biodynamic viticulture. It enchants with aromas of undergrowth and walnut husk, tobacco, leather, sweet spices, and a typical bouquet of red fruit. A clear ruby color. The palate is warm, responsive, and soft. The finish is lingering. A wine that best expresses the Tuscan terroir, ideal for pairing with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Querciabella currently produces four wines from its Chianti Classico vineyards in Greve in Chianti. Batàr is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay; Camartina is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese; Palafreno is a pure Merlot, while Querciabella is a Chianti Classico DOCG.

Mongrana, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, was the first wine to be released from the Alberese Querciabella estate (Maremma). Querciabella plans to introduce more wines from this region soon.
