Description
Still red from Piedmont, 13% ABV, 100% Dolcetto, produced by Prunotto. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Dolcetto d'Alba born in the heart of the Langhe, in a region rich in history and winemaking tradition. Upon arrival at the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and pressed. Fermentation took place over 6 days at a maximum temperature of 27-28 degrees C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter. After aging for approximately 6 months, the wine was bottled. On the nose, it is vinous, with fresh hints of violet and cherry. Ruby red with purple highlights. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, with excellent typicality and an elegant almond finish. A perfect pairing with Piedmontese cuisine, red meats, and aged cheeses.
