Description
Still red wine from Piedmont, Barbaresco DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Prunotto, 0.75L bottle. A Barbaresco born in the heart of the Langhe, where the Antinori family has successfully brought out the best in Nebbiolo, the region's leading grape. The grapes are carefully harvested and vinified, with a maceration period of approximately 15 days. Aged for approximately one year in oak barrels of varying sizes. Complex aromas with hints of red fruit and spicy notes. Intense garnet red color. Full-bodied and velvety flavor with a lingering finish. An elegant and structured wine, ideal for pairing with red meats and aged cheeses.

| Soil composition | Soils dating back to the Tortonian-Messinian period, known as 'fossil St. Agatha Marls'. Rich in elements such as manganese, zinc and boron, they are composed of fine particles that tend to form laminar layers that are easily eroded (silty marls). |
