Poggio Argentiera was founded in 1997 with the purchase of Adua property dating back to the early '900, the time of the Maremma land reclamation.
6 hectares in the original we start to produce Morellino di Scansano, then is made the new winery and in 2001 the property was enlarged by the purchase of another farm, Keeling, located in a hilly area, in the town of Scansano.
It is added to the old and new plants prized vineyards and today the company has 20 hectares of productive land included in the Morellino DOCG.
The company's philosophy combines the work in the vineyard with the utmost respect of the vine and its production cycle and, since 2009, the conduct of the entire company and was converted by following the dictates of organic farming, with the aim of seeking the 'balance between the plant and the surrounding environment.
