We did not limit ourselves to the choice of wineries, but went deeper, and selected, within the wineries, the products that we felt suited our idea of wine.
We like wines that have pronounced mineral sensations, with strong character and territoriality.
We love wines that leave us thirsty and wanting to uncork another bottle.
We love savouriness, temperament, wines not for everyone, tenacious wines, to be discovered sip after sip, glass after glass.
We decided to work only and exclusively with national products, discovering small and medium-sized realities that amazed us with their soul, and that perhaps without us, would have remained unknown to wine lovers.
We did not choose a flag by sifting through the type of agriculture, as is often the case today; we have no greater respect or reverence for organic, biodynamic or natural. In Area 6 you will find all these types, but we also have conventional agriculture.
We choose wines by enjoying them in the glass and do not allow ourselves to be bewitched by the philosophical approach, when we do not find it reflected in what the real thing is: wine, freed of ideology and self-referentiality.
We prefer the objective character of the wines we drink, we love wines that unleash the chaos of our taste buds, that open new horizons to our sense of smell, exciting wines, often different.
Why Area 6 Rock Wine Distributor: We have played on two great passions, wine and Rock music, two elements that have characteristics in common.
They are two mnemonic elements, therefore developers of memory, they have infinite variations, wines are distinguished by territory, grape variety, microclimate, interpretation, just as Rock has a thousand variables, from classic Rock, to Psychedelic, to Prog, to Hard, to Metal.
The wines distributed by Area 6, are like Rock, pure energy.
