Description
Peyrot Liquer Au Cognac Poire is produced from Williams pears brought to the perfect level of ripeness. The distillate obtained from the fruit is highly concentrated due to the long maceration and is mixed with Cognac 1er Cru Grande Champagne. The resulting product is an incredible blend of the sweet aromas of the pear with the aroma of the cognac. The cognac is produced in France, located in the "1er Cru de Cognac," which has obtained the "Grande Champagne" appellation. The sweetness of the pear blends on the palate with a high-quality cognac, considered one of the most prized liqueurs in the production area. The liqueur is fermented in white oak barrels: 14 kilos of Williams pears are used for each bottle of Peyrot Liqueur. The liqueur's amber color is due both to the tannins in the cognac, resulting from aging in oak barrels, and the red skin of the pears. The tannic aroma is broken by the sweetness of the fruit, creating an olfactory and flavorful combination that is unforgettable for true connoisseurs of spirits with character. It is used as a digestif; if served chilled with crushed ice and two-thirds of champagne, it is used as an aperitif, to be enjoyed before a delicious meal. When tasted, it offers a full and harmonious flavor, perfect for accustoming the palate to the pleasures of the meal to come, or it can be flambéed to flavor desserts and fruit in a delicious sweet glaze.
