Description
Still red, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy, 13.5% ABV, produced by Armando Parusso. 100% Barbera, 2023 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a family that has been producing wines with passion and dedication since 1985. The grapes are harvested strictly by hand with the utmost care in small perforated baskets. After a gentle pressing, the grapes undergo a long maceration. Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously with natural yeasts without the use of sulfites. Aged in small oak barrels for at least 4 months in contact with its indigenous yeasts. Intense purple red. Full-bodied, vigorous, with notes of blackberry and raspberry. Rich, juicy; a beautiful balance between freshness and acidity, a long, persistent finish.
