Description

What kind of wine it is

Paradiso di Manfredi Toscana Rosso, produced by Il Paradiso di Manfredi, is a still red wine with controlled and guaranteed designation of origin from Tuscany, created as a pure expression of Sangiovese. In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby colour with garnet highlights, offering a bouquet that weaves together notes of black cherry, plum jam and dried violets, enriched by hints of liquorice, aromatic herbs, tobacco and tar. On the palate, it delivers a full-bodied flavour profile, impeccably supported by soft, silky tannins. The sip flows harmoniously and deeply, finishing with a fresh and savoury finale of great persistence.

Where it comes from

This wine originates in Tuscany, in the municipality of Montalcino, a renowned area for Brunello di Montalcino. The identity of the label is linked to the Il Paradiso estate and pays tribute to Manfredi Martini, a central figure for the Paradiso di Manfredi estate. This highly regarded subzone imparts a distinct territorial character to the Sangiovese, expressed in the glass through a clear freshness and solid savouriness. The strong connection to its place of origin ensures an authentic sip and a precise expression of the terroir.

How it is produced

The production of Paradiso di Manfredi Toscana Rosso follows a respectful and natural approach, based on the Triple A agricultural principles, with the aim of preserving the authenticity of the fruit. Careful work in the cellar allows the wine to fully develop its complex aromatic structure, ensuring excellent ageing potential.

From this winery
The company takes its name from Manfredi Martini (an expert farmer, born in Montalcino in 1914) and from the farmstead ‘Il Paradiso’, a farmhouse built in the early 1800s. Around 1950, Manfredi and his wife Fortunata, also an expert farmer, purchased the ‘Il Paradiso’ farmstead. In 1967, Manfredi, together with other farmers and producers, founded the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino. Today, we continue to produce wine, striving to respect the traditions, history and typical characteristics of the Montalcino wine-growing area. Read more
