Description
Still red from the heart of the Aosta Valley, 13.5% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir, produced by Ottin. 2021 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A wine that embodies the passion of Elio Ottin, a mountain winemaker for generations. One week of cold maceration followed by a 10-day fermentation. Aged in large 25-hectare French oak barrels for 18 months. Eight months on the lees, four months in bottle. Aromas of wild juniper, intense aromas of resin and pine needles, followed by delicate white pepper and aromatic herbs. It's like walking through a field of mountain flowers and trying to recognize them all. The palate is a dynamic, creamy movement, where the freshness of the flavor blends with the structure, keeping it light and extremely enjoyable.
