Description
Still red from Tuscany, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Mastrojanni. 100% Sangiovese. 0.75L bottle, 2018 vintage. A Brunello born from Mastrojanni's passion and dedication, in a unique corner of the land, where the presence of the Orcia River and Mount Amiata create a perfect microclimate. Aged for 42 months in 16hl Allier oak barrels. Aged in bottle for 12 months. Ripe plums and berries with notes of Mediterranean scrub. Intense, dense, and transparent red. A noble and austere attack in progression, compact, tight, and savory, born to stand the test of time.

We have always felt the need to challenge ourselves. Since November 2022, we have embarked on a transformative journey, moving towards a holistic approach to cultivation. Currently, our agricultural methods are based on non-invasive practices. At Mastrojanni, herbicides have never been used, and since November 2022, no chemical products have been applied. We cultivate the land with respect, preserving biodiversity and maintaining the genetic heritage of our vineyards. It is our deep understanding of the soil that guides the care of the vineyards along with the attentive listening to nature by the people who work for it.
Time seems to tell us that the true wonder of these places lies in their identity, inspiring us, transcending even those who own the land. Read more
