Description
Still red Taurasi DOCG Riserva, 13% ABV, produced by Mastroberardino in Campania, 2016 vintage. 100% Aglianico. A wine that represents the history and tradition of the Mastroberardino family, a winemaking family with over two centuries of experience. Aged for approximately 24 months in Slavonian oak and French oak barriques, followed by at least 30 months in bottle. It offers complex aromas, fruity and floral nuances harmoniously blended with spicy nuances. The bouquet features notes of cherry, plum, blackberry, caramel, tobacco, vanilla, leather, and cloves. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and agile, with silky tannins that are well-balanced with all the other components. Austere and complex, it is very drinkable.
