Description
Still red wine from Sicily DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Mandrarossa (Settesoli). 100% Nero d'Avola, 2021 vintage. A wine that expresses the passion and tradition of the Mandrarossa winery, with a Nero d'Avola that best expresses the character of the Sicilian terroir. Maceration and fermentation for 6-8 days at 22-25 degrees C. Maturation takes place for 8 months in cement tulip vats, 19 months in large barrels, and a minimum of 8 months in bottle. Fragrant and pleasantly fruity with notes of cherry, blackberry, and violet. On the palate, it is soft and fruity with delicate tannins and lively freshness. A red that pairs perfectly with meat dishes and aged cheeses.
