The roots that bind the Majolini family to viticulture are bound in the company's name as "Majolini" is reminiscent of "Majolina", an indigenous grape variety.

The link to our land has brought great satisfaction! Especially Valentino, who decided, towards the end of the 1960s, to fix up the old family winery and start cultivating Ruc di Gnoc, a magnificent high hillside vineyard that still produces the wine of the same name.

No wonder, then, that my brothers and I wanted to strengthen our roots, further developing the project started by our father. The decisive turning point came with the acquisition, in the early 1990s, of the beautiful area called Campèi. Then, in 1995, work began constructing the new wine cellar, a 4,000-metre facility overlooking an incomparable valley.

Talking about developing a wine cellar means attaching great importance to research. Whoever produces a wine of excellence cannot and will not think of evolution in numerical terms but in qualitative terms. Therefore, from 1981 to today, the company's primary commitment has been to increase our vineyards' potential, protect and enhance the land's value, and optimise production procedures strictly with the winemaking tradition.
