Story The sparkling wine tradition in Umbria only dates back to the early 1980s, but the careful choice of soils and microclimate where the right conditions to produce grapes with good acidity can be found has allowed a production that equals that of better known areas. The character added by the Umbrian habitat and the long and careful vinification process makes it a much sought-after product by an affectionate public.
