Florentine steak, barbecue with spicy sauce, sliced beef, roast beef with baked potatoes, stewed eel, aubergine caponata, spit-roasted chicken, slightly aged cheeses (pecorino, parmesan), traditional Bolognese lasagna, strangozzi with red onion and lingonberries, Köttbullar with lingonberries sauce, boiled meat. Due to its moderate body it is also excellent in the preparation of sauces.

Story Rubesco is a Lungarotti brand derived from the Latin rubescere, to blush (with joy). Label: bas-relief depicting the grape harvest, detail from the 13th century Fontana Maggiore in Perugia, the most beautiful square fountain.
