Description
Franciacorta Dosaggio Zero Riserva, produced by Lo Sparviere, 2015 vintage, in Lombardy. 12.5% ABV. A Franciacorta Riserva born from the passion and history of a winery that has been producing excellent wines since 1974. Fine and bold, with notes of sweet toast, dried and tropical fruit, pale honey, and yellow peach. Intense straw yellow with a brilliant golden hue. Clean, fragrant, and assertive, minerally with great flavor, persistent, and with a long finish.

| Wine making | After soft pressing of the whole bunches to extract no more than 50% of free-run juice, controlled fermentation at around 18 °C, 60% takes place in stainless steel tanks and the remaining 40% in barriques and tonneaux. In the fermentation vats, the must matures and partially undergoes malolactic fermentation. Small percentages of wines from two or three previous vintages contribute to the cuvée. |
