Description
A still white wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 12.5% ABV, 100% Ribolla Gialla, produced by Livio Felluga. A wine that embodies the history and passion of a family that has been producing excellent wines for six generations. The company, founded in 1956, is famous for its labels featuring the "Carta Geografica," a tribute to the region. The grapes are delicately destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. They are then softly pressed, and the resulting must is clarified by decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is left on the lees in stainless steel tanks for six months. The bottled wine is normally stored in temperature-controlled rooms for approximately two months. Very intense and fresh; hints of peach blossom and plum, integrated with fruity notes; aromas of lily of the valley and orange blossom stand out, fused with hints of pear and green apple. Straw yellow with light green highlights. Fresh, lively, fluid, and pleasantly tart; a balsamic aftertaste of quince and rennet apple.
