Description
A still white from the Loire, France, 11.5% ABV, produced by La Forchetiere. A Chardonnay grown on a 50-hectare estate near Nantes. The vineyards are spread across two districts: Melon and Folle Blanche. The vineyard is approximately 35 years old. Direct pressing upon arrival, fermentation in tanks at low temperatures, and aging on the lees. Floral aromas on the nose, accompanied by mineral notes that evoke the freshness of the terroir. Pale yellow with green highlights. On the palate, the wine is dry, yet beautifully fresh, complemented by notes of white fruit that make it pleasant and versatile.
