Description
Still red from Burgundy, 13% ABV, produced by Jean Fournier. 100% Pinot Noir, 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Grand Cru from Corton that expresses the finest Pinot Noir, with an aromatic complexity that invites tasting. The Fournier family has been present in Marsannay since the 17th century. Harvest: hand-picked into small 15kg crates, sorted in the cellar. Vinification: 50% whole grapes, moderate punching down and pumping over. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in 228-liter barrels (approximately 50% new wood) for 18 months. The nose is highly complex. It is a powerful wine, yet with elegant freshness and length.
